We made a custom Dead of Winter insert, based on this insert on BBG.
We made some modifications though. The most imported is that we used 3mm foamboard instead of 5mm. Because of this, there was more space left. Especially the card trays benefits from this, because there was enough space to add extra sides on the outer ones. Also, the cards are tiled for easier access.
We also decided to use the spare space from the example to extend the token tray. Some cards that are only used in the setup of the game can be places in here as well.
