Since camping on a cardboard token is boring, I wanted to make some nice looking shelters to use in the Robinson Crusoe board game. I used polymer clay to create them.

I made three versions of it. The first being the simple camp you have when you crawl upon the beach, watching your ship going to Davy Jones’ locker. Just a fire with some fishes on a spike.
After having survived the first cold night, it is time to find enough wood and leaves to turn the camp into a shelter. It is not that firm, it won’t resist a storm or the bitter cold of snow, but hey, it is a roof at least.
And then, having enough resources, we finally can reinforce our shelter and build a nice cabin. The walls are strong enough to stand against an autumn storm, the roof is solid and will hold the weight of snow. In here, we can spend some nice evenings, sippingĀ orange juice and playing board games…
